CALL FOR ARTISTS:
National FINE ART EXHIBITION

About the Show

Fantasy & Fiction is a fine art exhibition that revels in imagination, storytelling and the fantastical.

Artists are encouraged to share work that focuses on myth, lore, legend, tall-tales, storytelling and imagination.

Open to all artists in the US.
All mediums are welcomed for submission.

The exhibit will be in the Old Courthouse Arts Center, a 5,000 sq ft gallery located on Woodstock's historic square, NW of Chicago. You may recognize the square from the film Groundhog Day. 2021 marks the Old Courthouse Art Center's 31th anniversary.

In addition to opening night, we will have 2 additional events that will weave imagery from the artwork in the gallery into the storyline, called  A Night in Silvermoon.  These will be held Saturday evenings, Sept 11 & 18. These evenings are designed to be an entertaining way to connect visitors to the artwork in a unique way. If you would like attend one or both nights, sign up is here. To find out more about how this event relates to the artwork in the show, see the full prospectus.

J + K Isacson are curators for this exhibition, working in partnership with the Old Court House Arts Center and the Northwest Area Arts Council.
