About the Show

Dangerous Lullabies VIII is a group fine art exhibition.  2022 was the exhibition's 8th year, back by popular demand. The exhibit was at Crystal Lake’s Lakeside Arts Park in the Dole Mansion, an intricately detailed 1800’s building, which is rumored to be haunted.

This annual show features artwork that explores the curious allure of things that frighten us. You are invited to examine the beauty found in the ashes of terror and experience the magnetic pull of fine art that is disturbing, on-edge or dark in this exhibition. The gallery is open to the public. Admission is free. The artwork in the exhibition is available for purchase.

Joe + Kathleen Isacson are curators for this exhibition, working in partnership with the The Dole and the Lakeside Legacy Arts Foundation for the 2022 exhibition. This exhibition has passed, but you can view the works from DL VIII below.
