CALL FOR ARTISTS: NATIONAL FINE ART EXHIBITIONAbout the ShowTogether is a juried fine art exhibition that explores how the arts bring us together emotionally, intellectually and through shared experiences, such as events. Open to artists who are able to drop off & pick up their artwork in person. All mediums are welcomed for submission. The exhibit will be in the Old Courthouse Arts Center, a 5,000 sq ft gallery located on Woodstock's historic square, NW of Chicago. You may recognize the square from the film Groundhog Day. 2020 marks the Old Courthouse Art Center's 30th anniversary. J + K Isacson are curators for this exhibition, working in partnership with the Old Court House Arts Center.
Eligibility This show is open to all artists in the US who are able to deliver their artwork to the gallery. Submission fee is $25 until March 15 and $30 from 3/16 until the final submission deadline: May 31. The jury fee covers up to 5 images. There is no hanging fee for accepted work. All mediums are accepted. All styles of artwork are also accepted for consideration. Due to storage limitations, we are unable to accept shipped work at this time. Artists included in this exhibition are asked to drop off and pick up their artwork. How to Submit: This is a two part process: Submit the jury fee & fill out the form below. Awards will be given for 1st Place & Honorable Mention and an additional 2 Blue & 1 Gold artist management prizes sponsored by Biafarin Artist Management designed to further empower winning artists to sell their artwork. Exhibition videos: In addition to promotional videos created for the exhibition, for this show, accepted artists will be encouraged to submit video of themselves talking about themselves, their process & artwork for an online video version of the exhibition. Both the submission form and fees should be submitted by May 31, 2020 to be considered. Submissions that do not follow basic guidelines will be considered incomplete. Submissions without a jury fee will be also considered incomplete. Incomplete submissions cannot be juried. Notifications will be made by 6/13. Please be patient! Follow us on FB for updates. |
